PCOS Isn’t a One-Size-Fits-All Condition

When I was first diagnosed with PCOS, I felt like I had to fit a certain mold.
The internet told me to cut carbs.
Social media told me to stop eating fruit.
And somewhere between the blood sugar fear-mongering and the dairy-shaming, I found myself confused, frustrated, and completely disconnected from my body.
But the truth?
PCOS is not a one-size-fits-all condition, sis.
It’s a spectrum. Every woman’s body responds differently.
Some women gain weight.
Others struggle with fatigue, acne, or irregular cycles.
And some show almost no symptoms at all.
Here’s what I wish someone told me sooner:
1. What works for her may not work for you.
You don’t need to go keto, vegan, or low-everything to feel better. You need to learn your body, and listen to its cues with compassion and curiosity.
2. PCOS management should be personal.
That means considering your stress levels, sleep, movement, digestion, and spiritual health — not just your carb intake.
3. Your worth is not in your symptoms.
Whether your body is inflamed, tired, or healing — you are still whole, still loved, and still a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Here at Domi Michelle Nutrition, we focus on grace-led wellness.
That means no fear-based food rules, no one-size-fits-all protocols — just faith, nourishment, and personal alignment.
